The Spotlight is a simple widget installed on your website, that displays content created and curated through The Lighting Exchange® portal.
There are 10 different types of content that can be displayed in the Spotlight, giving your agency the choice to be more hands on with content displayed, or hands off.
Content Types:
- Agency Selected Products – Your agency admins can select individual products to highlight with literally just one click! The Spotlight will rotate through your ten most recently selected Agency Pick products to keep your content fresh.
- Industry News – Our team at Your Lighting Brand publishes the industry’s top articles that are focused on Design, Technology Advancements, Codes and Case Studies. This content is published multiple times a week allowing your agency to display the most recent, relevant news without any effort.
- Agency Articles – Create articles to feature a product, showcase a local project or announce an upcoming event without having to know any website coding whatsoever. If you can make a post on social media, then you can easily master this feature to help your agency market to your customers.
- Presentations – PDF’s, PowerPoints or videos uploaded by manufacturers or by your agency through the Presentations feature. The spotlight will rotate through the shareable presentations within your library allowing your agency to easily promote educational opportunities directly on your homepage.
- Events – Showcase and promote public events and webinars that your agency is hosting and events your manufacturers have posted using the Course Calendar. The spotlight will rotate through upcoming events on your agency’s calendar.
- New Products – Feature the latest products from your manufacturers automatically! The spotlight will rotate through 20 of the most recently added products.
7. Manufacturer Content – This content is auto-populated on the spotlight and includes press releases, product introductions and banners published by the manufacturers that you represent. 
8. Latest Application Images – Feature the latest application images from your agency and your manufacturers automatically! The spotlight will rotate through 20 of the most recently added images.
9. Latest Galleries – Automatically publish new application image galleries that your agency has created within the past 90-days.
10. Agency Selected Application Images – Your agency admins can select individual application images uploaded by your agency or by your manufacturers to highlight with just one click! The Spotlight will rotate through your ten most recently selected Agency picked application images.
